A Beetle on the blue track, on its own

Everyone, lined up across lanes four to eight

Four of them talking it over between the cars

The concourse, filled in and still filling

Red widebody out on the track against the grass

An AE86 at dusk with the floodlights coming on

Shooting it from up in the stand

High-vis and a peace sign

Caught laughing by the flash

Tailgate up, everybody round the back of it

A lowrider under the roof lights

A long bonnet down the home straight

Light trails the length of the back straight

One pylon against the last of the sky

Bonnets and doors up, right down the row
